Call for Applications: Lithuania–Taiwan Continuation Projects 2026
The Research Council of Lithuania (RCL), in cooperation with the National Science and Technology Council of Taiwan (NSTC), announces a call for applications for Lithuania–Taiwan continuation research projects. The call aims to strengthen established scientific collaboration between the two countries and to promote high-level joint research.
Applications are invited exclusively from Lithuanian–Taiwanese project teams and institutions whose ongoing joint projects are scheduled to conclude in September 2026. Continuation projects must be carried out within the same field of science as the preceding two-year joint research projects.
Funding of up to EUR 100,000 may be allocated per project for Lithuanian participants. Applications are accepted until 31 July 2026 (inclusive).
The call covers the fields of laser technologies and biomedical technologies. In the area of biomedicine, priority is given to the development of genome editing tools and cancer research, including diagnostics, treatment, prevention, and healthcare solutions.
