European Partnerships Up Close: Funding Opportunities and Participants’ Experiences Discussed
On 5 May 2026, the Research Council of Lithuania (RCL) hosted the event “European Partnerships Up Close: Funding Opportunities and Participants’ Experiences”, aimed at presenting the opportunities offered by European Partnerships to Lithuanian researchers and institutions. During the event, partnerships in the fields of health, climate, energy, mobility, environment, food, agriculture, as well as humanities and social sciences were discussed.
Representatives of the RCL presented current funding opportunities and upcoming calls within European Partnerships, while Lithuanian coordinators of partnership projects — Associate Professor Dr Skaistė Sendžikaitė from the Faculty of Medicine at Vilnius University, Professor Dr Jurgita Bruneckienė from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Kaunas University of Technology, and Dr Ieva Misiūnė from the Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences at Vilnius University — shared their experiences of participating in international projects and presented success stories.
The organizers of the event hope that the presentations and shared success stories will contribute to a better understanding of European Partnerships and encourage more active involvement of Lithuanian institutions in international research and innovation networks.
