Financial Support for Lithuanian Researchers to Participate in Activities Offered by the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL)
Lithuanian researchers, students, and research administrators are invited to apply for financial support to participate in conferences and training courses organised by EMBL and EMBO, to access EMBL’s open-access research infrastructure, and to host EMBL scientists for lectures in Lithuania.
This funding is provided במסגרת Lithuania’s membership in EMBL and is intended to strengthen international collaboration among Lithuanian researchers, promote participation in high-level scientific events, and enable access to state-of-the-art EMBL research infrastructure and services.
Under this call, funding may be awarded for:
- registration fees for participation in EMBL and EMBO conferences and training courses (up to EUR 1,000);
- access to EMBL open-access facilities and the services they provide (up to EUR 1,500 per project);
- visits of EMBL laboratory scientists to scientific events organised in Lithuania (up to EUR 500 for travel expenses).
Applications may be submitted by Lithuanian researchers, students, and research administrators who plan to participate in events taking place in 2026 or to make use of EMBL research infrastructure.

Applicants will be informed of the funding decisions by 31 March 2026.
