Planned Call for Proposals for Joint Lithuanian–Polish Research Projects
On 15 June 2026, the Research Council of Lithuania (RCL), in cooperation with the National Science Centre of Poland, plans to announce the 4th call for joint research projects under the Lithuanian–Polish cooperation programme DAINA. Researchers from all fields of research will be eligible to apply.
International consortia comprising institutions from Lithuania and Poland will be eligible to participate in the call. A joint consortium application must be submitted in Lithuania. The application will be submitted by the Lithuanian principal investigator(s) together with the implementing institution, which must be a Lithuanian higher education or research institution listed in the Register of Education and Science Institutions.
The duration of the joint research projects will be 36 months.
Budget of the project implementers from Lithuania and the implementing institution must not exceed 200,000 euros. Budget of the project implementers from Poland and the implementing institution must not exceed 1,300,000 Polish zloty.
